Day 13 Juice Fast

 I lost almost a full pound, .8! Moving right along!
 Today, I was in the middle of juicing and my daughter called, she was 20 minutes away and was bringing her boyfriend over to visit! I then rushed with my juicing and cleaned up my mess. Well, something wasn't right with the juice! It didn't taste very good. I could only drink 1/2. Then later, I realized I forgot the tomatoes! I added 2 more tomatoes later, and it tasted so much better!
Then, after a little visit, my daughter said they were hungry! Well, I must admit, my husband and daughter have been eating very lite and not cooking foods with a lot of smell. But, my husband is the entertainer and he loves to cook! So, he went at it...cheese stuffed pasta with marinara sauce and globs of cheese on top, Italian sausage with jalapeno cheese, salad with the works including croutons, and sourdough garlic bread! 
Oh, it smelt so good! He even set me a place at the table! 
I said to him, "You know I'm not eating, right!" He said, "OK, I didn't Know!" I guess he figured it would be a good time to quit fasting! But, I knew if I quit with a big meal like this, I would be sick! 
I did go over to the food, before it was on the table....and inhaled! Yes, I inhaled every dish! I inhaled the pasta, I inhaled the salad, I inhaled the meat, then I inhaled the garlic bread! I wasn't hungry, and each dish didn't tempt me...except the garlic bread....oh, that smelt goood! So, I inhaled it maybe 6 times! My daughter came in and said, "Don't blow it Mom, it's not worth it!" "I said, "I know, I'm just filling up on the smell!..."That's, calorie free, you know!" And Seriously, I knew I wouldn't cave and just allowed myself to fill up on the wonderful smell, then I was good! Seriously, I was satisfied! 
I went to the couch and drank my juice and enjoyed the conversation with everyone at the table. (I did protect myself from sitting at the table where the food was being eaten...I didn't know if I was strong enough for that!)


Today, I had 40 oz lemon water and 40 oz Chocolate Smooth Move Tea.
I juiced , 4 celery, 1 handful spinach, 1/4 handful parsley, 1/4 handful cilantro, 3 green onions, 1 garlic 1 inch ginger, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp tabasco.
Drank 1/2, later juiced in 2 tomatoes. Tasted a lot better!

I didn't take my vitals until after I drank my lemon water. That must be why my blood sugar was high. I guess lemons have enough carbs in them it make it go high, but I'm still sticking to the lemon water in the morning because it's very alkalizing!
